Kyra Ernst

Working primarily in the Quality department of startup life sciences organizations, Kyra brings in-depth experience in clinical and commercial manufacturing requirements to her role as a validation engineer at USDM.

She is proficient in change control, deviations, out-of-specification investigations, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiation. As a quality management system (QMS) specialist, she has experience in electronic QMS configuration, management, and validation.

Kyra is also a certified Veeva Vault Platform Associate Administrator (2021-Present) and is passionate about using technology to improve process efficiency and ensuring that systems are validated and compliant.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) and she loves to bake. Kyra misses the industrial-sized food processor, stand mixer, and oven in the Asheville café kitchen where she baked pastries and cakeshop items daily.
