5. Validate in Test

Verify and document that the change was implemented in the test environment correctly and meets requirements.

Before you begin

You must be the Event Task Assigned to user or a member of the Event Task Assignment group to perform these steps.

Procedure

  1. Open the Validate in Test task and click Start Work.
  2. Enter detailed information about the validation steps taken. Click Complete.

Approving the Implementation in Test

After the Validate in Test task is completed, an approval task for the Implement in Test task will open.  For guidance on how to approve or reject the task, see Approve or Reject a Task.
