2. Users

ProcessX users are created in the out-of-the-box ServiceNow Users module. Refer to ServiceNow documentation for specific information on creating users and assigning groups/roles. 

To ensure the ProcessX administrator has appropriate access to configure within the ProcessX application scope by default (rather than the ServiceNow Global scope), the apps.current_app User Preference must be set for the user.  

NOTE: The following steps must be performed by a ServiceNow administrator.

1. Navigate to All > User Administration > User Preferences
   
   
2. Click New.
   
   
3. Enter/select the following:
   • Name: apps.current_app
   • User: (the user ID for the ProcessX administrator)
   • Value: 3428e8dedb371010e73ed1c2ca961929 (sys_id for ProcessX)
     
4. Click Submit.
