Verify and document that the change was implemented in the production environment correctly and meets requirements.
Before you begin
You must be the Event Task Assigned to user or a member of the Event Task Assignment group to perform these steps.
Procedure
- Open the Validate Implementation in Prod task and click Start Work.
- Enter detailed information about the validation steps taken. Optionally, attach test evidence to the task via drag-and-drop or by using the manage attachment (paperclip) icon.
- Click Complete Checklist. Select Complete for the evidence attachment question and click Save.
- Click Complete.
Approving the Implementation in Production
After the Validation in Production task is completed, approval tasks for the Implement in Production task will open. For guidance on how to approve or reject the task, see Approve or Reject a Task.
