1. Creating an Event

You can create a new Event from the ProcessX menu. 

Before you begin 

Role required:  x_usdml_unifyevent.user 

Procedure 

  1. Navigate to ProcessX > Events > Create Event. 
  2. Fill the values on the form and click Submit or Save.  (Submit will take you to the All Active Events list; Save will take you to the next form you must complete for the Event.)

    Note: Some information is automatically filled in. It is important that you complete all the required fields, which are marked with an asterisk (*).  

Field  Description 
Event Type Configured workflow comprised forms and tasks. 
Assignment group The group to which the Event is assigned; any member of the group can work on the Event, unless a user is selected in the Assigned to field. 
Assigned to The user to which the Event is assigned; if an Assignment group is already selected, this field will be filtered to show only members of the selected group. 
Short description A brief description of the subject or purpose of the Event. 
Reported By User reporting the Event. Default value is the currently logged in user. 
Reported Date The date and time of the reported Event. Default value is the date and time the Event creation was initiated. 
Reporting Site The site reporting the Event. Default value is the Location value from the currently logged in user’s profile. 
Owning Site The owning site for the Event. Default value is the Location value from the currently logged in user’s profile. 

Note: Navigate to ProcessX > Events > All Active Events to quickly find the Event you just created using sort, filter, or search functionality.
